A Pakistan army aircraft on training flight crashed in Solki Chattha area near Gujranwala in east Pakistan and a pilot was killed, local TV channels reported Saturday.
According to the reports, the pilot was pulled out from the plane and succumbed to injuries later. No other casualties or damage have been reported on ground, Xinhua reported.
Reports said the army aviation aircraft Mashak crashed during routine training mission possibly due to technical problem.
Relief and rescue teams reached the site of the crash after the incident.
On Aug. 5, a Pakistan Air Force pilot was killed as his aircraft crashed in northeastern Pakistan's Attock on a training flight.
On July 3, a military helicopter crashed in northwestern Pakistan's Orakzai tribal agency, killing at least 26 security personnel on board.
