Two extremist commanders have been arrested in the security forces operation in northwest Pakistan's Swat, local TV channel reported Wednesday.

Two extremist commanders have been arrested in the security forces operation in northwest Pakistan's Swat, local TV channel reported Wednesday.
  
The security forces arrested extremist commanders Fazl haq and Rasool Khan in the operation in Swat's Tehsil Charbagh, the private TV GEO News reported.
  
Meanwhile, the local people of Tehsil Kabal area of Damghar in Swat have prepared a lashkar against the extremists, Xinhua reported.
  
Swat's bazaar are still crowded on the third day of Eid festival from Sept. 21 to 23.
  
The visitors thronged the mausoleum of Pir Baba in the area, which was re-opened after six months. Pir Baba Shrine once was occupied by militants in April.
  
About 1,700 militants have been killed since Pakistani security forces launched the military operation against Taliban militants late April after militants entered the Buner district from the neighboring Swat district in early April and refused to vacate the area despite their pledge to do so.
