Vote of confidence to ministerial nominees began in the Wolesi Jirga or Lower House of the Afghan parliament on Saturday, Xinhua reported.
In the process, the legislators, through secret voting, would approve or reject 24 minister-designates introduced by President Hamid Karzai couple of weeks ago.
However, there is no nominee to replace the acting Foreign Minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta as the authorities say he would remain in office until donor nations' conference on the war-torn country held in London this month.
