The federal government has unveiled a shipbuilding strategy that will spend more than 30 billion Canadian dollars over the next 30 years to build 28 large vessels for the Canadian Coast Guard and navy, as well as 100 smaller ships, Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay said Thursday, Xinhua reported.
