Five people were injured and four others reported missing after a volcano eruption on Indonesia's Sulawesi island, the National Disaster Management Agency said Saturday
Karang Etang volcano in North Sulawesi province erupted Friday, sending mudslides down its slopes that damaged 10 houses and two bridges, agency spokesman Priyadi Kardono said dpa reported
"The fate of the four people missing is still unknown as of today (Saturday)," Kardono said.
Indonesia sits on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, where continental plates in the earth's crust meet, causing frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
