Paris Hilton has gotten herself into a hairy situation. The Hollywood glamour girl faces a lawsuit from a hair extension maker that alleges she went back on a deal to promote their product, celebrity news site TMZ.com dpa reported according to dpa.
The suit charges the 29-year-old did not fulfil her contract as model and spokeswoman for Hairtech International, which is seeking 35 million dollars in damages in a Los Angeles court, TMZ reported late Wednesday.
In 2007, Hilton took on a job as spokeswoman and model for the hair product company, but then missed important appointments while in jail for alcohol violations, the suit alleges.
The company also claims Hilton has appeared in public wearing hair extensions made by a competitor.
Hilton has not yet commented on the suit.
