A Mig-27 fighter of the Indian Air Force Friday crashed in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal, said official sources, Xinhua reported.
The crash took place at 08:25 a.m. during a routine sortie, just 40 km from Kalaikunda airbase, said the sources.
The pilot of the combat aircraft ejected safely, said the sources.
