The Cuban government plans to allow five more imprisoned dissidents to leave the country to live in Spain, the Roman Catholic Church in Havana said late Friday.
Orlando Marquez, a spokesman for the Havana Archdiocese, described the five as having been sentenced to prison terms after being arrested trying to flee the Communist island, DPA reported.
Counting the latest five, 47 dissidents have agreed to leave for Spain, Marquez said.
