Bodies of five Afghan policemen out of 13 police personnel who went missing on Monday in Khogyani district of southern Ghazni province were found in Afghanistan's Wardak province, 40 km west of Afghan capital Kabul, on Sunday, a local television channel reported.

Bodies of five Afghan policemen out of 13 police personnel who went missing on Monday in Khogyani district of southern Ghazni province were found in Afghanistan's Wardak province, 40 km west of Afghan capital Kabul, on Sunday, a local television channel reported.
  
"Five dead bodies of Afghan National Police (ANP) were found in Chak district of Wardak province this morning," the private Tolo TV quoted provincial administration spokesman Shahidullah Shahid as saying, Xinhua reported.

Thirteen police personnel of Khogyani district in Wardak's neighboring Ghazni province including police chief of district went missing after Taliban militants stormed the district headquarters on Monday (Nov. 1).

The bodies of four other policemen were retrieved in the vicinity of Khogyai district on Thursday.

Operation for locating and finding the remaining four more policemen has been continuing, according to officials.

Taliban militants captured Khogyani district for a few hours and after setting on fire the district headquarters made captive the policemen present there and took them to villages controlled by militants.

Taliban militants have yet to make comments.
