An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted Mindanao, the Philippines, at 0647 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, Xinhua reported.
The epicenter, with a depth of 69.60 km, was initially determined to be at 7.3805 degrees north latitude and 126.6027 degrees east longitude.
No damage or casualties were immediately reported.
