WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was Tuesday freed on bail by a court in London after a week in custody, dpa reported with reference to the BBC.
The 39-year-old Australian will continue to fight his extradition to Sweden where he is wanted in connection with sex offence allegations, his lawyers said.
