Two gunmen attacked an Afghan army vehicle and killed four soldiers in Kabul Sunday, a senior police officer said, dpa reported.
The two attackers were also killed in the incident.
"Two gunmen attacked the Afghan national army vehicle on Jalalabad highway. As a result, four Afghan army soldiers died," deputy city police chief Khalil Dastyar said.
One of the attackers detonated his suicide vest and the other one was killed by Afghan police, Dastyar said.
He said there were no initial reports of any civilian casualties.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack.
