Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday legislation would be changed if the country's gas transportation monopoly Gazprom did not give access to its pipelines to independent gas producers.
"Either (Gazprom) works efficiently or we will have to change current rules, change laws. The company is putting its interests above interests of the industry," he told a government meeting, which considered energy industry development goals in 2011.
