Ireland's opposition Fine Gael party are set to win Friday's general election with 36.1 per cent of the vote, according to exit polls released Saturday, DPA reported.
The exit polls, conducted by Ireland's national broadcaster RTE, indicate that Enda Kenny's Fine Gael party will fall short of an overall majority.
Fine Gael is expected to look to Labour, emerging as the second party with 20.5 per cent, to form a government.
