A bomb blast rocked a school in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province Tuesday morning, injuring at least two persons, an official said.
"A police unit reported a bomb explosion in Najm-ul Jihad high school in Jalalabad city that occurred at around 08:00 a.m. local time, wounding two people including the principal of the school," spokesman for provincial administration, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai told Xinhua.
He said the injured people have been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
