Cote d'Ivoire's Constitutional Council has declared Alassane Ouattara as winner of the country's presidential election, Xinhua reported citing agencies on Thursday.
The constitutional council has previously acknowledged Laurent Gbagbo as the winner of November polls, while the country's electoral body declared Ouattara as president-elect. The dispute put the western African country into months of crisis.
The media reports said that the chief of the constitutional council now accepted Ouattara as winner of the presidential election.
