At least five people were killed in Arizona Thursday in what appeared to be a series of related shootings, the Yuma Sun newspaper reported.
The body of a woman was found shot dead in a yard outside of Yuma Thursday morning and police then responded to four other reports of shootings in and around the south-west Arizona town, the newspaper said.
Details about the identity of the victims and the shooter and a possible motive were not yet known, DPA reported.
The attacker was believed to have killed himself.
