Seven workers were injured Tuesday at an Intel microchip plant in Chandler, Arizona, when an unidentified material ignited in a chemical storage room, local fire officials said.
All seven of the injured were taken to hospital, where three were diagnosed with minor injuries, Chandler Fire Chief Jeff Clark told local reporters.
The microchip fabrication plant was immediately evacuated as authorities investigated the cause of the conflagration, DPA reported
