All five occupants died Monday in a helicopter crash in the west Norwegian county of Hordaland, according to a report on NRK radio.
A police spokesman said the helicopter crashed near the community of Eidfjord on the rocky, inaccessible eastern end of the Hardangerfjordes and burst into flames, dpa reported.
Further details were not given. The aircraft was operated by the private Norwegian company Airlift, which handles charter flights. An eyewitness sent the alarm to rescue services.
