Crashed Superjet-100 black box found

A search group working at the crash site of the Russian Sukhoi Superjet-100 aircraft in Indonesia has discovered the liner's "black box". The information was reported by a spokesman of the Asian country's national search and rescue agency, The Voice of Russia reported.

The flight data recorder was found on Tuesday, about 100 meters away from the site where earlier they discovered the aircraft's tail unit.

The Sukhoi Superjet-100 crashed May 9 while executing a demonstration flight. On board were 45 people, including eight Russians. No one survived. The exact causes of the crash have not yet been established. According to preliminary data, the plane crashed into the face of a mountain due to poor visibility.
