An 18-year-old man was killed and three people were injured late Thursday in the Brazilian protests against government spending and living costs, dpa reported.
The casualties were manning a barricade in Ribeirao Preto, around 300 kilometres north of Sao Paolo, when they were hit by a car that appeared to be trying to drive through the obstacle, the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper and other local media reported.
