Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter is to meet with Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif, IRNA reported.
Zarif, who is heading Iran's nuclear negotiating team, arrived in Geneva on Monday afternoon to attend the new round of talks between Tehran and Group 5+1.
The talks start on Tuesday and end on Wednesday.
According to reports, Burkhalter is to meet with Zarif on Wednesday.
Burkhalter has expressed optimism concerning results of the talks between Iran and Group 5+1 on Monday.
Referring to his meeting with Dr. Zarif on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, Burkhalter stressed that positive developments have occurred in Iran's relations with international community.
To a question concerning Switzerland help to reach an agreement in the talks, Burkhalter said his country is ready for mediation and of course, European Union has also an important role here, too.
