The crisis in Ukraine has negative impact on the countries of the EU Eastern Partnership program, Deputy High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Helga Schmidt said on Sept.9.
She made the remarks at the briefing following the 4th informal meeting of foreign ministers of EU Eastern Partnership countries in Baku.
The EU commissioner emphasized the necessity of complying with the terms of the ceasefire in Ukraine.
Schmidt underscored that the EU plays an important role in this issue, adding that the frozen conflicts in the EU countries should be resolved.
