Russia will turn to court to claim a discount if France fails to deliver Mistral helicopters under the contract, TASS reported referring to Kremlin Administration Chief Sergei Ivanov's statement.
"If the contract is not fulfilled, /Russia/ will claim a discount in court like everywhere in a civilized world. It is up to Paris rather than Moscow to decide whether or not the contract should be fulfilled," Ivanov said, adding that the Russian-French relations had long-standing traditions and history.
He urged the French partners not to sacrifice long-term reciprocal interests to momentary considerations.
