Syria's President Bashar al-Assad paid a working visit to Moscow Oct.20 and held talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Russian president's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
Peskov noted that the presidents held talks in a narrow and expanded format with participation of Russia's high-ranking officials, RIA Novosti reported.
"The negotiations were quite positive," he added.
The leaders of the two countries discussed the issues related to continuation of the operation by Russian aerospace forces and Syrian army, according to the president's spokesperson.
