Czech President Milos Zeman said at a press conference Thursday at the two-day V4 Presidents Summit 2019 that the presidents of the Visegrad Four (V4) countries and Slovenia support Serbia's accession to the European Union (EU), reports Trend referring to Xinhuanet.com.
"All presidents unanimously support the inclusion of Serbia in the European Union and are willing to give maximum assistance to this inclusion," Zeman said.
Thursday's summit was attended by the presidents of the V4 countries, namely, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, plus Slovenia and Serbia.
Zeman also mentioned about Wednesday's panel discussions of the V4 presidents, about V4's position in the EU and the situation surrounding Brexit.
The Czech Republic is holding V4 presidency, which began in July 2019 and would last until mid-2020.
