Crew Dragon with four astronauts on board docks to ISS - NASA

US SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spaceship with four astronauts has docked to the International Space Station (ISS). The event’s video was streamed on the website of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Trend reports citing TASS.

The spaceship docked to the ISS at 19:37 EST on Wednesday in the automated mode.

Crew Dragon was launched from the Cape Canaveral Spaceport at 03:55 EST on Wednesday. The crew of the spacecraft called Freedom consists of NASA’s astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Robert Hines and Jessica Watkins, as well as the European Space Agency’s Samantha Cristoforetti, of Italy. Their mission on the orbital outpost will last for about six months, during which time they will conduct more than 200 research experiments.
