A cooperation agreement in the standardization sector has been signed between Greece and Ukraine

(ForUm) - A cooperation agreement in the standardization sector has been signed between Greece and Ukraine. The Ukrainian party was represented by acting Chief of the State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy Ivan Sayevych, Cabinet press office informs.

The agreement envisages cooperation in the sector of standardization and estimations on the basis of additional agreements and protocols on harmonization of national standards the way they will meet international and European ones, reports Trend.

The Government aims at rapid entrance of Ukraine into the world and European economic space. In this context Ukraine's accedence to the WTO and it's EuroIntegration bids are priority, Ivan Sayevych aired. According to him, the agreement will aid overcoming technical handicaps in trade and stepping up economic relations between Ukraine and Greece.
