Days of NATO to be held in Ukraine

(ForUm) - In 2007 Defense Ministry of Ukraine plan to hold actions of international cooperation with 57 countries. Ivan Androsenko, head of International cooperation department of the Defense Ministry told at a briefing.

According to him, in the margin of bilateral cooperation the most actions (71, 1%) are planned with EU countries, reports Trend.

We are Europe and the most intensified dialogue will be with these countries, Androsenko said.

In his turn, Andriy Odynkovych, deputy chief of NATO integration department of Ukraine's Armed Forces HQ informed that it is planned to hold Days of NATO in Ukraine in 2007.

Attention will be focused mainly on militaries and their families. It is stipulated for holding the so-called Days of NATO in academies of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Odynkovych informed.

In particular, Days of NATO will he held in Kharkiv aviation institute and Sevastopol institute of Naval Forces of Ukraine.

According to Odynkovych, such actions will help to carry NATO tasks to people and to explain why this organization is a key one in the sphere of international security.
