( Itar-Tass ) - Head of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas will arrive in Moscow on a working visit on June 19-21, Russian representative at the PNA Alexei Pogodin told Itar-Tass.
Abbas will come for talks over the pressing issues of the Middle East settlement. The current worsening of the situation in the Palestinian autonomy will be discussed as well.
The visit was planned before clashes between FATAH and HAMAS militants began in the Gaza Strip.
Abbas was to have left for Amman and then to Paris on Friday, and visit Qatar and Syria after Moscow.
Mahmoud Abbas last visited Moscow in May 2006.
