Russia is prepared to provide special transport and military police escort to OPCW inspectors in Eastern Ghouta, the chief of the center for the reconciliation of conflicting parties in Syria Yuri Yevtushenko told the media, TASS reports.
He said the center was prepared to provide assistance in ensuring the security of OPCW in Eastern Ghouta.
"For the unhampered work of OPCW officials we will be prepared to provide special transport and Russian military police units to maintain security," Yevtushenko said.
