Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia on Feb. 3-5. The Turk newspaper reported that his goal is to further develop bilateral ties between the two countries.
Gul will be accompanied by a large delegation of businessmen.
The delegation will attend a Turkish-Saudi business forum in Jeddah and Riyadh.
The current trade volume between Turkey and Saudi Arabia is $4 billion.
Turkey hopes to increase trade to $7 billion. Experts said increased trade and economic ties will be useful due to lower demands on European markets during the global economic crisis.
