An explosion at a weapon manufacturing plant has left a person killed and wounded three others in northern Turkey, reports have disclosed.
According to the Dogan news agency, the accumulation of flammable gas has been blamed for the blast which ripped through the compound in the northwestern province of Duzce, Press TV reported.
Injured workers have reportedly been sent to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment.
There are frequent industrial accidents in Turkey, often as a result of lax safety regulations.
