An hour before the meeting of Greek and Turkish prime ministers George Papandreou and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a "sound bomb" exploded in Athens, CNN Turk reported. No one was hurt.
The Turkish PM arrived in Greece Friday for the first time in six years, BBC reported.
Bilateral ties between Greece and Turkey are complicated due to disagreements over Cyprus.
Before leaving for Athens, Erdogan said his government will show solidarity with Greece in light of its economic problems. He added that they can cooperate to reduce defense spending.
