The Turkish PM arrived in Greece Friday for the first time in six years, BBC reported.

Bilateral ties between Greece and Turkey are complicated due to disagreements over Cyprus.

Before leaving for Athens, Erdogan said his government will show solidarity with Greece in light of its economic problems. He added that they can cooperate to reduce defense spending.
