A fire took place in the central prison in the Turkish city of Eskisehir on Friday night, Anadolu agency reports.
The fire started in a jail cell as a result of deliberate arson.
Several municipal fire brigades arrived on the spot to extinguish the fire. The fire was contained and extinguished.
The fire injured two people - the prisoner, who set fire and his cellmate. Both were taken to a state hospital in the city (Eskisehir Devlet Hastanesi).
The fact is under investigation.
