Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, who met in New York on Monday, discussed counter terrorism.
Davutoglu held a meeting with Zebari within the scope of the 66th session of UN General Assembly high-level meetings, Anadolu Agency reported.
The two ministers took up Turkey-Iraq relations, recent developments in the Middle East and Syria issue.
They also discussed fight against terrorism within the scope of bilateral relations between Turkey and Iraq.
Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu and Turkish Ambassador in Washington Namik Tan also attended the meeting.
