Two Turkish journalists missing in Syria have been found alive, Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday.

According to the report, journalists Adem Ozkose and Hamid Coskun were handed over to the Syrian intelligence service. The agency also reports that Coskun is wounded.

There has been no news from the Turkish journalists, who left for Syrian Idlib to cover the developments in the country, over the past five days.

Anti-government protests which began in mid-March have persisted in Syria for almost a year. Daily reports are being received about the deaths of people, both civilians and the security forces.

According to UN statistics, the total number of victims in the country exceeds 7,500 people.
The Syrian authorities accuse armed militants of the clashes saying they receive assistance from neighboring countries.
