About 373 terrorists have been killed in Turkey in the last five months, the Turkish Yeni Safak newspaper reported with reference to the Turkish General Staff.
The report also says that in the last six months, the Turkish army launched 974 military operations in four provinces.
Earlier, the Turkish Armed Forces Chief of Staff Necdet Ozel has repeatedly stated that Turkey will do everything it can to fight terrorism.
"Turkey has achieved tangible results in the fight against terrorism, and important in this matter was coordinating intelligence and security agencies," Ozel said.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years claiming over 40,000 lives.
