Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu discussed the humanitarian assistance to be sent for the Syrians with Antonio Guterres, United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Refugees, referring to the speech Guterres delivered in Geneva last month, Anadolu Agency reported.
Davutuglu underlined Turkey's efforts for the Syrians, the acceleration of the political solution process in Syria and he also emphasized that war crimes should be punished.
Guterres thanked Turkey for the efforts it has made for the Syrians so far saying that they would help with the humanitarian assistance as much as they could.
"We are in contact with the opposition and the Syrian regime," Guterres added.
"Real solution will be possible if the political transition process is carried out," Guterres also said.
