Gezi park: 46 people injured in police intervention action

46 people were injured in police intervention action in Gezi park, 44 of them are civilians, 2 are policemen, Anadolu agency reported.
During the action, the police called for respect for the rule of law, saying, "Please, release the park. We do not want hurt anyone. This is an illegal action". But the protesters ignored the warning.
After using of tear gas and water cannons by the police, some protesters moved toward Tarlabaşi and Istiklal Streets. The protesters threw stones and glasses to police, which were breaking posters in Gezi park.
Some victims in Taksim Square were given first aid in ambulances surrounding the area. Some victims are placed in hospitals.
Meanwhile, a group of protesters with Turkish flags in their hands, blocking the road in the area Jevizlik, moved in the direction of the Topkapi Palace. Protesters chanted various slogans.
The protest actions also took place in Ankara, Izmir, Denizli, Manisa, Adana.
