Turkey and the U.S. will have discussions on the situation in South Caucasus, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Sept.12.

He made the remarks during the joint press conference with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported on Sept.12.

The two sides will also discuss the critical situation in Iraq and Syria, according to Cavusoglu.

The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Turkey's Ankara city on Sept.12.

He will hold meetings with the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, according to Anadolu agency.
