Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Kazakhstan is important for both sides, Turkish TV channel TRT Haber quoted Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu Dec. 29 as saying.
President Erdogan's visit to Kazakhstan is expected to be made in January 2015, he added.
Earlier, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov said that President Erdogan will visit Kazakhstan in 2015.
He said that Kazakhstan's relations with Turkey are long-term and strategic.
"There are mutual institutions of the highest level," he said.
"So, we expect our friend - President Erdogan to visit Kazakhstan in the near future," he said.
