Turkey's Customs and Trade Ministry is preparing a draft law to tighten the rules of placing advertisements, Milliyet newspaper said Jan. 7.

The draft law stipulates prohibiting the use in ads of such words as "for the first time", "hurry up" and "limited sale".

Aside from that, it is planned to ban the advertising of psychics, as well as books and booklets on astrology in Turkey.

Under the draft law, the advertisement of medicines in commercials will be banned in the country.

The plans also include banning the demonstration of religious attributes in commercials.

The new draft law is projected to be submitted to Turkey's parliament in the coming days.
