Turkish Airlines has cancelled all flights between Istanbul and the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, scheduled for Feb. 19 the International Airport named after Heydar Aliyev told Trend Feb. 19.
Turkish Airlines continues to cancel domestic and international flights scheduled for Feb. 18-19, and there are currently over 800 cancelled flights, the said in report on official website of company Feb. 19.
The flights get cancelled due to the heavy snowfall in Istanbul.
Turkish media outlets reported that currently the snow depth in various parts of Istanbul stands at 40 to 60 centimeters.
