A drone was shot down in Turkey's airspace over the border with Syria, Turkish Defense Forces said Oct. 16.
Turkey's patrol aircraft made warnings three times before shooting down the drone.
Currently, Turkish specialists are working to identify which country owned the drone.
According to preliminary assumption, the downed aircraft was a Syrian drone produced by Iran.
