Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was able to dissuade a person from committing suicide, the Turkish Sabah newspaper wrote Dec. 25.
According to the newspaper, after Friday prayer President Erdogan's motorcade stopped on the bridge because of a traffic jam, which occurred when a man was trying to commit suicide.
President Erdogan got out of the car to dissuade the person from committing suicide.
According to the newspaper, the president eventually was able to persuade the man who wanted to jump off the bridge.
