Turkish artillery is shelling the positions of the "Islamic State" (IS, aka ISIS, ISIL or Daesh) terrorist group in Syria, said Turkey's General Staff Apr. 25.
The shelling of the IS positions in Syria began at 01:00 (GMT+3 hours) on the night of Apr. 25.
The opposite side's manpower was destroyed in the shelling.
On Apr. 21, Turkish armed forces began the shelling of the IS positions in response to the shelling of Turkey's south-eastern province of Kilis from Syrian territory, which is controlled by the IS.
