At least two police officers were killed and five others were injured on Tuesday in an attack by a group of terrorists in northern Turkey, Daily Sabah reported.
A terrorist group attacked police officers on duty at a checkpoint at the entrance of the Maçka district of Trabzon province.
Trabzon Governor Yücel Yavuz stated that a civilian was also wounded in the attack.
Gendarmerie forces joined efforts to track down terrorists who escaped to the woods near the clash site.
