The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK), an offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group, said it carried out a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Milliyet newspaper reported.
According to the latest data, death toll in the Istanbul terror attack has reached 38 people, 30 of them being police officers. A total of 155 people are being treated in hospitals. Putin expressed condolences to the families of victims and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
