Since the beginning of the Operation Olive Branch in Syria’s Afrin district, 1,369 terrorists were killed, the Turkish General Staff said in a message Feb. 13.
According to the message, 51 settlements were liberated in Afrin.
In particular, 70 members of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Islamic State (IS) terrorist organizations have been recently killed.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
